Single- and repeated-dose toxicology, local tolerance, genetic toxicity, and embryo-fetal toxicity were evaluated in mice, rats, rabbits, and dogs. The report described no serious toxicity under its study conditions, while noting mild local irritation and a reversible dog creatinine finding at 2 mg/kg.
